Social Bookmarking Strategies
Tagging
Tags are keywords that you use to describe content. There are not many rules to tagging - just describe a webpage how you think you will search for it later. You can see what words other people used to tag, if someone has already tagged the website you are on, and you can re- use tags from other sites you have bookmarked.
Searching
Search popular sites on a topic. Find sites, others with your same interests find the most useful.
Sharing
Send bookmarks to colleagues when working on a project.
Subscriptions
Subscribe to sites with a particular tag or by a particular user.
Mashups
Use link rolls, tag clouds, or rss to import bookmarks to other web applications such as a wiki or a blog.
